Just Keep Loving Them

When you meet the human needs of those you love, kids and partners: needs such as courtesy, friendliness, empathy, respect and understanding, you can expect that they will reciprocate and love will grow. Relationships suffer when people stop meeting each others needs. Often meeting needs is hard work. You get your hands dirty and grow tired. Sometimes there is no gratitude. But it's like watering a plant, you can't see the growth immediately. But in time the plant does not only grow but blooms and produces fruit. Don't stop until you see the fruit.

Affirmations:I care about people
I meet the needs of those I love
I make sacrifices for others

Be all you can be

Your life is a reflection of you

A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" Curious, he yells: "Who are you?" He receives the answer: "Who are you?" And then he screams to the mountain: "Answer me!" The voice answers: "Answer me!" Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!" He receives the answer: "Coward!" He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?" The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention." Again the man screams: "You are a champion!"  The voice answers: "You are a champion!"

The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life. Life will give you back everything you have given to it."

Affirmations:I love people
I love to serve others
I make a real difference

Be all you can be.

" A Smile can win over friends and enemies alike.
Laughter can heal from within and spread warmth about.
A friendly face is never a waste and is always in good taste.
A helping hand is someone who understands.
All in all, this is someone who has come to know, that happiness
is a self-created inward and outward glow.
It is not having the best of everything, but rather making the best
of everything and anything."

The Power Of Goals

“Without vision people perish” – Proverbs
Without goals, your motivation, drive and enthusiasm, dies. People can be dead at age 30 and not get buried until age 70.
In a study at Yale University in 1953, they did a survey to discover how many of the graduating class had set specific goals and detailed plans to accomplish those goals for their life. Only 3% of students had. 20 years later, in 1973 they did another survey with the same students and found that those 3% who had set the goals had accomplished more than the other 97% put together.

Start making plans for what you want.

I set goals and reach them
I make things happen
I make my goals a reality

Do Not Judge

Here's a great poem that reminds us that no one is perfect

How dare we judge another man
As if we have no shame?
How can we condemn what he has done
When our sins are just the same?
If we see someone was tempted
Or drawn into a snare,
Before we think the worst of him
Go to God in prayer
And ask Him to give us the strength
That we may stronger be
Should one day we be tempted too
To do the same as he.
Charlotte Hunter

Affirmations:I judge no one
I make mistakes too
I cut people slack instead

Be A Self - Starter

To achieve anything, you have to be a self-starter. Don't wait for others to give you a push-start. Learn how to motivate yourself. You will never achieve financial success or success in anything if you don't make a decision to become a self-motivated, self-directed person. If you don't, you will live with regrets.
There will always be things that you will regret never having done. You'll say: "I wish I had kept in better shape" or "I wish I had spent more time with my kids doing fun things" or "I wish I had worked harder at building my income matrix".

But when your life is over, it's over. And it will be too late.

Make a decision to be a self-starter.

I motivate myself
I am a hard worker
I work, even if I don't feel like it

Be all you can be.

Cycles Of Life

Life and projects all have cycles:

1. There is the time of conception - receiving the new idea.
2. Birth - planning, implementation, takes calculated risk.
3. Perseverance - hard work and growth. It’s the longest part of the cycle.
4. Reward - Success, breakthrough, enjoying the fruit of your labor.

If you quit in stage 3, you don’t receive the reward.

But after perseverance comes the reward. That time when you can enjoy your success. You can be proud of yourself, satisfied because of a job well done. Enjoy a rest. Enjoy the recognition from others. And allow yourself to be refreshed and recreated, to get ready for the next cycle.

Only perseverance will bring the reward.

I never quit
I work hard until I break through
I enjoy my rewards

Be all you can be

Are You Pushing Others Away?

A poor self-image often makes people try to prove themselves to others. So they show off, in an attempt to demonstrate their worth and to get others to like them. This actually pushes people away. And that reinforces feelings of worthlessness. Do you try to get others to like you by "showing off" in some way? Do you try to raise peoples' opinion of you by what you tell them about yourself, your achievements or your possessions? It may be pushing them away.

You are incredible! Focus on encouraging others and complimenting them sincerely. Focus on building people up, not on yourself. As you do that, others will see you as the wonderful person that you are.

Affirmations:I am an encourager
I am more interested in others
I build people up

Be all you can be.

What Are You Saying?

Body language, which contributes 55% to communication, can confirm or contradict a person's words. Body language conveys the truth of a person's real intentions, feelings or attitudes more clearly than their words.
For Example: At a party you are talking to someone you've just met. She asks you about yourself, but from her eye contact you can tell that she is not interested because she is looking around, perhaps looking for someone more interesting to speak to. How does that make you feel?

Subordinates, and loved ones can quickly pick up whether you actually are interested in what they have to say by your body language. You don't want to break down what you have built up by giving people the wrong message through your body language. Let your body language show that you are interested and care about people. Maintain eye contact and don't work on something else while someone is speaking to you.

I really care for people
I am interested in what others have to say
People matter to me

Be all you can be.

Always be on the lookout for ways to complete them faster and more efficiently. Continually study and learn so that you improve your career skills, to do your job more effectively and add more value to those around you. This is part of what it means to be pro-active. It is what your boss is looking for and it will help you to get FAR in life.

Vision And Purpose

“Leadership is impossible without a guiding vision and a purpose that generates passion for accomplishment.” - Dr Myles Munroe
When you want to take people in a direction. You have to have a vision that guides you. Your vision is the picture of what you want to achieve or where you want to go. It also helps you know and see the purpose for your quest – how it will benefit people or how it will increase company profits. And this creates the passion that will drive your effort and that of your team.

Develop your vision and share it with your team. Let your purpose inspire passionate effort so your team can achieve its goals.

Be all you can be.

Winners Are People like you

Below is a wonderful poem I received from
Arnfried Klein-Werner
Motivator & CEO - Be Motivated Today

Winners are People like You
Winners take chances.
Like everyone else, they fear failing, but they refuse to let fear control them.
Winners don't give up.
When life gets rough, they hang in until the going gets better.
Winners are flexible.
They realize there is more than one way and are willing to try others.
Winners don't blame fate for their failures, nor luck for their successes.
Winners are patient.
They know a goal is only as worthy as the effort that's required to achieve it
Winners are people like you.
They make this world a better place.

Nancye Sims

I am a Winner
I'm flexible
I'm patient

What You Believe

Napoleon Hill said: "What the mind can conceive and believe, you can achieve."
If you keep thinking: "I'm always struggling financially. Will it ever change?" the answer is "no" because you BELIEVE that you are always struggling. You are ‘today’ what you believed about yourself ‘yesterday’ and ‘tomorrow’ you will be what you believe about yourself ‘today’. As soon as you start believing that things will improve, they will.

Things change on the outside only once the change has happened on the inside. It will never change on the outside for you, in your marriage, career, with your children or with your friends until the change in beliefs has taken place. That's not the end (you have to apply some other success principles too). But it's the start. You have to start by changing your beliefs if you want the change on the outside.

Henry Ford said: "Think you can, or think you can't. Either way you will be right."

I can do anything
I have no real limits
I am an incredible human being

Be all you can be!

Don't Drink Poison

We all carry baggage with us. It is usually on an emotional level. One of the keys to getting rid of the baggage, is to forgive those who have hurt us. Resentment is like a cancer. Someone once said: Bearing a grudge is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.

I know it often seems impossible to forgive, because the pain is so great. Yet, the awesome reality is that when we forgive we feel a tremendous release as the burden of resentment is lifted. Sometimes we don't even want to contemplate forgiving those who have offended us. But, you just have to make that decision and do it. The benefit is worth it. Less pain & tension, fewer headaches and much more peace. Yes, definitely more peace.

Is there anyone that you need to forgive? Even from way back in your past? You can. It is a process but you can.

I am a forgiving person
I don't hold grudges
I will forgive ...

Be all you can be
