Just Keep Loving Them

When you meet the human needs of those you love, kids and partners: needs such as courtesy, friendliness, empathy, respect and understanding, you can expect that they will reciprocate and love will grow. Relationships suffer when people stop meeting each others needs. Often meeting needs is hard work. You get your hands dirty and grow tired. Sometimes there is no gratitude. But it's like watering a plant, you can't see the growth immediately. But in time the plant does not only grow but blooms and produces fruit. Don't stop until you see the fruit.

Your life is a reflection of you

A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" Curious, he yells: "Who are you?" He receives the answer: "Who are you?" And then he screams to the mountain: "Answer me!" The voice answers: "Answer me!" Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!" He receives the answer: "Coward!" He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?" The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention." Again the man screams: "You are a champion!"  The voice answers: "You are a champion!"

The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life. Life will give you back everything you have given to it."

Without goals, your motivation, drive and enthusiasm, dies. People can be dead at age 30 and not get buried until age 70.
In a study at Yale University in 1953, they did a survey to discover how many of the graduating class had set specific goals and detailed plans to accomplish those goals for their life. Only 3% of students had. 20 years later, in 1973 they did another survey with the same students and found that those 3% who had set the goals had accomplished more than the other 97% put together.

Start making plans for what you want.
